Douglas Hedding from TrueGotham blogs about buyers remorse and while I was reading his article - I could not help remembering how I felt when I bought my first house. (see previous post)....
The day of our walk through. Remember that my husband only saw OUR house once... I saw it twice, so both of our memories were a bit off. I remember telling my husband the day I "bought" our house that the "home does not need alot of work - this is exactly what we were looking for". (ahem).. well, seeing a home WITH furniture is alot different than a home WITHOUT furniture. The walls are dirty, the floors seem faded, the cracks are more apparent and the home appears smaller - alot smaller.
