A quick look back at some of the Real Estate happenings in 2006
In February – the launch of Zillow.com provided the public with resources for home buying and selling “free and on your own terms” - it’s particular gem being Zestimates, an online home valuation tool. Despite backlash from the real estate community, including a complaint filed to the Federal Trade Commission by the National Community Reinvestment Coalition in October, Zillow continues to grow. In early December, Zillow introduced a new service that allows seller’s to post their listings on the Zillow website.
